- Program Length: CNA training program length can vary, with some taking as little as 3 to 4 weeks to complete. In New Mexico, training programs are offered in many community colleges, vocational schools as well as a number of medical facilities and nursing homes. CNA training programs in New Mexico consist of at least 75 hours of training, including at least 16 hours of hands-on clinical training.
